  4. After you pass the exams print your 2 year TABC and Food Handler Certificates.

TABC and Food Handler Certification - What are the requirements?

  • TABC Certification, requires either a valid Social Security Number or IRS Tax Number and email address
  • You must retake the TABC Course and Exam to ” renew ” your 2 year certificate
  • You can be any age to get TABC Certified
  • However, you must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol at an on-premise establishment (Bar, Restaurant,Hotel, etc) 21 years or older in package liquor stores
  • There is no minimum age to sell most wine and beer at an off-premise business.
  • Any employee working with unpackaged food, food equipment or utensils, or food-contact surfaces must have an approved Food Handler Card or Certificate

About myTABC.com

Based in Austin Texas, we are the online version of the Dram Shop School, one of Texas’s first TABC Certification training programs.
